Windows 7 users can upgrade to the latest Internet Explorer 11 to upgrade their operating system with Windows 8.1. Microsoft has released its latest version of the browser for this system as well. IE11 is coming to Windows 7 a month after its launch in Windows 8.1. It brings adaptive video streaming to its users. Fans of games will definitely appreciate WebGL support. Its advantage is also its high speed, which is a third faster than other browsers.

The Windows 7 edition is available in 95 languages, so Czech is of course available. In a few weeks, the new version will be distributed via Windows Update. If you don't want to wait that long, you can download the new version from the Windows website.

As is customary lately, the installer itself is small and the entire update is downloaded during the installation. This is happening quickly because no updates are being downloaded yet. Finally, it is necessary to restart the computer because IE is part of the operating system.

Thanks to the pressure of advertising agencies, we have to accept a window in which we have the option to check off sending a request to Do Not Track. In previous versions of the browser, the request was sent automatically. However, Microsoft faced a lot of criticism for this, which forced it to add this dialogue. However, this request is only a kind of wish in the form of an HTTP request header to calm the user. To prevent tracking, there is a Tracking Protection feature in the browser where you can download filters.

The browser version is 11. The revision number 9600 stands for RTM (release to manufacturing). There is no update released yet, so its version is also RTM. Although this is not an update that will just fall into place, there is also a knowledge base article KB2841134.
