A group in the Internet Explorer product team that is in charge of the demos helped Ubisoft create Assassin’s Creed Pirates for the web. The game is built on WebGL and Babylon.JS. It is free and runs on all modern browsers. It’s interesting to see how each browser interprets the game. The differences can be found in anti-aliasing, textures, control sensitivity and, above all, in rendering speed. And what was the most difficult thing in creating it, according to the authors? Faithful simulation of ocean waves.
Where is the game located? race.assassinscreedpirates.com.
