Microsoft has released an out-of-schedule major security update for Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8. These are vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player that Adobe rates as critical. Both Windows 8 and Windows Server 2008 are affected, except for the Core edition. The vulnerability allows an attacker to crash a system or take control of it. If you have automatic installation of updates turned on, you don't need to take any action. Otherwise, install the update as soon as possible.
